Dance Lessons

Experience free dance lessons from our spirited volunteers from 7-8 PM You will be learning some essential movements to help you get through the night. There is no partner required. We want to help guide all singles and couples to comfortably partner dance by the time the night is over. If you still need help learning to dance after the main lesson, we have dedicated staff to teach you as the night goes on. Ask any staff member for a dance assistant and we will find one for you.

 

Social Mixer

Do you find yourself having trouble asking someone to dance with you? This isn’t a problem at California Cosplay Gala. Along with dedicated staff that will dance with you to get you started, we will also have a fun mixer. The mixer will pair you up with many different partners to help you experience dancing with ease.

Take a break with Toshi and get some photos that are totally #instaworthy. Toshi is a friendly, familiar figure in the northern California convention scene. Anywhere you turn, you can find Toshi’s work on cosplayer’s Instagrams. He focuses on taking the perfect shot so that you can get photos as soon as you can and at the best quality. We hope that you’ll get to know Toshi and be able to see him at any other event you may go to as well.

 

Photobooth

Check out our one of a kind photobooth where you can take memorable photos with the whole squad. Complimentary photo props will be available for use.

 

Raffles and Giveaways

One of everyone's favorite activities is back again! We will be giving away really great prizes during the raffle for attendees to take home. Each attendee will get at least 1 raffle ticket. Attendees that pre-register online will get 2 raffle tickets. On-site registrations will only receive 1 raffle ticket. We will also be hosting giveaways at local events for free tickets to attend California Cosplay Gala and there will be online giveaways to be announced.

 

Food and Drinks

Complimentary food and drink options will be available during the duration of the event, and if there are extras, feel free to take it home.

Masquerade Contest

Our judges will select the best dressed guests and reward them accordingly.

Goodie Bags

Exclusive surprise goodie bags were provided to guests. Our gift bag included a limited edition California Cosplay Gala Masquerade soap bar, bubble blowers, and candy.
